Job description

Overview of the position:

The Solution Architect is responsible for designing and implementing solutions for CRM and WEB perimeters, within NOZ VEO Group.

The role involves understanding the business needs on the assigned functional areas, reviewing existing IT landscape, and designing the target systems/ roadmap - required actions to implement, by reusing existing tools or adopting new technologies.

 

Depending on the initiative, it may be required to research for solutions, perform benchmark analysis, contribute/ lead POCs, design custom solutions, present and engage stakeholders:

  • Start with the business scope, and incorporate non-functional requirements (e.g. scalability, security, flexibility etc.), impact on the organization, costs etc.

  •  Recommend solutions aligned with the IT organization strategy and principles

  • Cover the underlying technologies, data, software components, and user interfaces required to meet the business needs.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document their requirements. Identify key functionalities needed to support sales, marketing, acquisitions and other internal functions.

  • System Design by considering factors such as scalability, flexibility, and integration with other systems. Design the infrastructure, data models, and user interfaces to meet business needs.

  • Customization and Configuration: Customize and configure the systems to align with specific organizational requirements. This involves creating and managing custom fields, workflows, and user interfaces to streamline and optimize business processes.

  • Integration: Ensure seamless integration between the systems in the assigned areas and other enterprise systems, such as ERP (SAP). Focus on improving the API management topic, within the organization (tools and overall the solution)

  • Security and Access Control: Implement robust security measures to protect sensitive data within systems. Define and manage user access controls to ensure data privacy and compliance with regulations like GDPR.

  • Data Management: Develop strategies for data migration, data cleansing, and ongoing data maintenance. Ensure data quality and consistency within systems to support accurate reporting and analytics.

  • Performance Optimization: Monitor the performance of the systems and optimize their efficiency. This may involve fine-tuning configurations, addressing performance bottlenecks, and ensuring the systems can handle increasing amounts of data and user activity. The role may be deeply involved in the implementation of better performance monitoring tools.

  • Continuous Integration/ Continuous Delivery: Contribute and/or support the development teams in adopting the DevSecOps tools and practices

  • Project Management: Lead or contribute to projects, ensuring their on-time delivery, scope, and quality. Coordinate with project teams and stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes. As part of projects, for IT assessments/ POC/ research or for technical projects, the role may be required to lead.

  • Act as Focal point/ Technical subject matter expert for the development teams working within assigned perimeter, by providing technical expertise in complex situations, including technical trainings/ workshops for the teams.

 

 Job requirements

  • Bachelor's degree/higher education in Computer Science/ Engineering

  • More than 5 years’ experience in designing solutions

  • Has worked on implementing solutions with web/ mobile technologies

  • Exposure in working with or integrating CRM platforms

  • Excellent knowledge in API Gateway solutions

  • Technical knowledge: SQL, .NET, JavaScript, React, Flutter, PHP

  • CI/ CD, DevOps experience

  • Working knowledge into one or more databases:: PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle

  • Knowledgeable in Monitoring, Load Balancing, HA & DR topics

  • Experience in working with Infrastructure and Security experts

  • Good understanding of business processes related to retail, sales, acquisitions, marketing or customer service

  • Language knowledge: English –B2, French – B1

  • Excellent problem-solving skills

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, good facilitator

  • Adaptable to organization principles/ strategies, way of working and culture

  • Good communication – multicultural environment, working with both IT & business stakeholders, as needed; develop good relations
