SAP ABAP Team Leader

Overview of the position:

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP ABAP Team Leader to lead our development team. This is a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge SAP technologies in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of SAP ABAP developers to design, develop, and implement SAP solutions;

• Oversee the technical design, development, and deployment of ABAP programs and enhancements;

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (functional consultants, business analysts, project managers) to ensure timely and successful delivery of SAP projects;

• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and training to junior developers;

• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and optimize performance of SAP systems;

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and innovation in ABAP development processes;

• Participate in project planning, resource allocation, and estimation of effort;

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and manage expectations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field;

• 5+ years of experience in SAP environment;

• Strong knowledge of SAP modules (SD, MM, FICO, etc.) and how ABAP integrates with them;

• Expertise in SAP ABAP programming;

• Experience leading a team of developers in SAP environments is considered a plus;

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills;

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
